Matt Bacon brings a wealth of tennis coaching experience. His coaching journey began at Charlotte Tennis Academy in Charlotte, N.C., from 2000 to 2004, where he worked closely with nationally ranked players and junior traveling teams, honing his skills in player development and coaching strategy.

Throughout his career, Bacon has also held positions managing tennis facilities such as the Mountainbrook Swim and Racquet Club and the Kirkwood Park and Recreation Department. His teaching experience extends to renowned resorts like the Longboat Key Club, TPC at Piper Glen, and Yonahlossee Resort, where he currently serves as the tennis professional. Bacon's diverse background, including his education at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, Ferris State University, and Appalachian State, equips him with a comprehensive understanding of tennis management, player development, and coaching methodologies.
