Bill is a distinguished figure in the tennis world, boasting over 30 years of coaching and management experience across various levels. Recognized as a High-Performance Tennis Specialist by PTR, USPTA, and USTA, he has played a crucial role in the development and success of numerous junior tennis players, both locally and internationally. Currently serving as the Men’s & Women’s Head Tennis Coach at The University of Tennessee Southern, Bill's coaching prowess has led to notable achievements on and off the court, with previous coaching roles at Belmont University, Fisk University, and Cumberland University contributing to his extensive track record of success. His teams have garnered national recognition, with six All-American players and numerous nationally ranked singles and doubles players under his tutelage. Bill's impact transcends coaching, as he has excelled in entertainment and tennis promotions, hosting award-winning radio shows, serving as a TV announcer for the WTA Tour, and creating engaging social media content, earning him accolades such as the 2020 Professional Tennis Registry International Media Excellence award.
Beyond coaching, Bill has left an enduring mark in tennis management, having served as the Director of Tennis for the Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club and overseeing a seasonal tennis program at Temple Hills Country Club.
