Benny Morentin stands as a pillar in the tennis community, bringing over 25 years of expertise and passion to his role as the Director of Tennis. His accolades speak volumes about his dedication and skill, having been named the PTR Pro of the Year for Arizona in 2013, a testament to his exceptional coaching abilities and impact on the tennis scene. Benny's coaching journey has been illustrious, having coached numerous USTA teams to Nationals at Tucson Country Club and inspired countless junior players in Tucson, many of whom have gone on to achieve success in high school, collegiate levels, and as nationally ranked juniors.



Benny's own achievements on the court further underscore his prowess in the sport. As an All-American collegiate player and a former 4th ranked doubles player nationally during his time at Grand Canyon University, Benny's playing career was marked by excellence and competitiveness at the highest levels. His commitment to continuous improvement is evident in his participation in the USTA Elite Coaches High-Performance Training class in 2008, solidifying his reputation as one of the top tennis-teaching professionals in the area. Benny's involvement in various tennis committees and associations, such as serving on the USTA High Performance Junior Committee and as a board member of the Abilene Tennis Association, showcases his dedication to the growth and development of tennis at all levels.
